Dr. Giuseppe Casale is the Chief of the Social Dialogue, Labour Law and

Labour Administration Branch at the ILO. Geneva.

He holds a PhD, M.A. and C. Phil from the University of California, Los Angeles : an M.A. from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advances International Studies, the Johns Hopkins University ; a doctorate in political science from the University of Florence.

• visiting professor in comparative and international labour law at the universities of Gorizia and Cagliari
• visiting professor at the University of Bari.
• He has lectures in comparative labour law and industrial relations in European and US universities.

Dr. Casale is  :

- the Secretary of the International Industrial Relations Association (IIRA)

- member of the Executive Committee of theInternational Society for Labour and Social Security Law (ISLSSL)
